Big Night Out

This year's Kent Scouts Big Night Out was well supported with the Cubs of the 6th/13th Faversham camping at Shepherd Park, for two nights, where they made dream catchers, a water slide, clock faces and had a camp fire. The Scouts of the 8th Faversham Sea Scouts camped on Friday night so they could be transported to Margate on Saturday morning for a cycle ride along the coast via Reculver to Herne Bay. The Cubs arrived at Ham Road to be greeted by Dean, the County Commissioner and his Team as they tried to visit as many camps as possible over the weekend. Having said Goodbye to Dean the Cubs walked the sea wall, returning to camp they joined the Scouts in their wet gear for a water slide and water fight, which mainly involved getting Graham from the County Cub Team extremely wet! Other activities included a camp fire, cycle assault course and wide game.
