DISTRICT SECTIONS
What are sections? Sections are very simply the way that we spilt up the age ranges in Scouting. We have 6 main sections in Scouting, these are Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network.

The one hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too. What are beavers? Beavers are young people aged between 6 - 8 years old. Beavers meet once every week and have lots of fun.

What are Cubs? Cubs are young people that are aged between 8 - 10 1/2 years old. Cubs meet once every week and get up to loads of great stuff. For more information click here |

What are Scouts? Scouts are young people that are aged between 10 1/2 - 14 years old. Scouts meet once every week and get up to lots of adventurous activities. For more information click here |

What are Explorers? Explorers are young people aged between 14 - 18 years old. Explorers meet once a week and get up to loads of cool adventurous activities as well as all the basic stuff. Explorers get a chance to take part in the D of E scheme and get the chance to become a young leader.

What is Network? Network is a group of people aged between 18 - 25 years old. They meet regularly and get up to lots of cool stuff. Networkers get the opportunity to take part in the D of E scheme and achieve the Queen's Scout Award. For more information click here |
