beavers

Beaver Scouts are young people aged between six and eight years old.

Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of Faversham Scouts. Our activities form a balanced programme and are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends. Beavers is open to all boys and girls aged 6-8 years old.

A group of Beaver Scouts is called a Colony, and each Colony can be split up into smaller groups called Lodges.

By taking part in Beaver activities, Beavers can earn a number of badges. When the Beavers achieve all the challenges, they will be awarded with the Chief Scout Bronze Award, the highest award available to Beavers.
